hi thankyou for taking your time to help me, i am starting up a pure window cleaning bussiness, i have opt to go with the trolley version i am new so please be far

first is there any licences that i will need to get to use water fed poles or contact any one,

i live in a hard water area and the tds reading is over 400 i have a di vessel and new resin but i can only get it down to 0.50 whats the best and to be fair the cheapest way to get down to 0

if anyone has any tips or advise i would be grateful many thanks paul

Ppm of 400 you will eat through resin..you will need an ro unit

No licence needed unless you are working in scotland

many thanks m8, ok whats the best reverse osmosis water filter to use, and would be best to run ro and di together as dont ro have a resin filter, did say im new lol,

I'd buy water too if I were you as would be cheaper and easier way to start

You will need PL insurance esp for any commercial work they'll ask to see it/a copy and a receipt

I'm not doubting you mate, but are you sure Worcester is hard water? Do you not get your water from the Elan Valley? @SHAQ TULLOCH is from Worcester maybe he could advise? Even with new resin it should get the reading down to 000PPM for a certain amount of time.

My tap water is 350ppm (edit: just retested and its gone down to 208 from a month or two ago, must be all the rain, but has been as high as 365 and always got 0ppm from DI only) and I still use resin only half the time and get it down to 0ppm easily and for a short while. Make sure the DI vessel has a good amount of resin in it, say 70-80% full and fresh and it should work fine no probs.

I was struggling to get mine down to zero with one vessel, maybe it was under filled. It would go to 2 from 65.

Got two in series now, no problems

I refilled mine a week or so ago, only half filled it to save resin and it only got it down to 104ish, I was shocked as I'd only just changed it, it was false economy. I panicked and emptied it and then refilled it almost to the top and tried it again and it came out at 0ppm, so it was probably that :thumbsup:

mine was full and first read from tap i think it was over 400 i got down to 0.50 would it be best to run two di or a ro and di i only filled it less then a week ago

just rechecked reading from tap its now 346, and through di down to 0.24 it still not 0

Pure freedom is your best bet, you'll need a 4040 RO system at that level, but defo search around for a pace that sells pure first, if not then defo invest in a 4040 RO from pure freedom

You can't use just di at that level, you'll need RO then DI after for 0ppm

You'd need a lot of resin at your water level mate, so you'd need 2 11 litre vessels at a minimum - not worth it, it would cost you an absolute fortune!

Get an a Reverse osmosis and you'll be sorted Mate

It's not cheap but unless you can buy your pure, then you'll have to invest in one, once you've got it, you'll be good to go!
