    about 5yrs ago i used one of these to clear old ivy sisal.jpg , a sisal buffing wheel mounted in a drill chuck

    i let the wheel soak in a bowl of CIF the night before

    lucky for me she didnt ask me to get the stickers off just the ivy ...looks hard I did a bit with a wall paper stripper...

    I had a plan to burn it off the wall dont know if it would have worked..

    but if the custy dont ask...I er..not going to mention it..

    another custy had it power washed off his wall..

    bloody horrible stuff..

    i had a customer ask me to get dead ivy off their wall. the job never came off but i planned to make up a sort of big dogs hair comb fitted to a pole and comb it off. whether it would have worked is anyones guess !

    thats reminded me ,i know a windie who buffs the upstairs windows using a sofa cushion fixed onto a pole. i must stop to chat to him about this sometime,get to see the real deal ,im pretty sure it has gold tassles round the edge

    image.jpg Maybe he's got vine weevils living in the upholstery, they munch on ivy :). Would probably take a long time to do it in this 'eco friendly' way...
