    Hi I am looking for advice if I can use the one shot control with the basic pump
    box that I have ?

    would be the guy to speak to about this,as an aside wire the variable speed control once you have it set to an on/off switch much easier to use then,
    as said above john hewitt is the guy who can tell you if its feasable or not as he knows those packs inside out

    All the one shot does is acts as a switch whitch is remote, it will work with any system, you can also buy a really cheap one shot from China, which works with the basic models I put it on my backpack but was so much hassle as it don't come with instructions or wires or anything!
    John does know his stuff, that's red hat diving right? But does sell basic stuff it's where I got my start up setup (which I am still using to be fair)!
