OPEN HOSE SURGERY

Dielema today, there seemed to be a wee bit of water about while working today.

hissing coming from reel hose, water spraying out of a tiny hole, Had to do open hose surgery.

Cutting hose, TRied to get tap off to connect onto the hose i had left but stuck.

Had to come home to get my spare reel in van, All good. ill get a hose connector and put them togeather again inase needed in future.

Id be stuck without a spare, alwasys best bto have 2 of everything

Able to get back out.

fitted my green pu hose from gardiners today also, see how it goes

Self Amalgamating tape would have been a 2 minute quick fix , Once you get one pin hole over the next few days or weeks you will get more I prefer to replace the hose ASAP .

i searched my pockets for some self amalgamating tape, nothing to fix it with.

does anyone know what size O rings i can use to put on hose if using a barb to join 8mm reel hose togeather

Always keep a van full of spares.

i do, but not barbs for a hose surgery. lots of pushfits and O rings, no not onion rings.

and pole hose ,
