What's everyone using. ?

Disconnected my shurflo and digital varistream today and using a smaller 4lpm 100psi pump out of trolley and PWM speed controller on 100mtr reel 6mm microbore.

Fed up with varistream as they only like new batterys and shurflo pulls 8amps Max.

I use a flojet 100psi pump. Works fine but seems to be lacking a bit pressure wise with fan jets. Pumps fine even at low battery levels. Could one hook up two in series to increase pressure?

For controller i use a simple pwm controller from eBay and a remote. Works brilliantly, though I mostly use it on full power anyway after switching to fan jets. I do occasionally turn it down a bit when using a different pole or if I'm running low on water.

I use a shurflo and digital varistream never had a problem but I also run it of the better on the van never had a problem with a flat battery and never charger it

That's not going to work.
There are some pumps on eBay that are 130psi. A guy is fitting them in a trolley system.
That would give more pressure for fan jets. Anymore than that would start blowing your fittings off
Lower amp pumps definitely kinder on batterys..

Fully charged leisure batterys and was always getting low voltage and shutdown.
Even removed the jumper pins inside the varistream controller to stop undervoltage shutdown was a nightmare. [emoji16]

I don’t nothing special just pump to varistream straight to battery I don’t use a leisure battery

I also only use my van for work around about 5miles from home so don’t charger up that much from the drive

131psi is incredible pressure. I put a 115psi pump on my system and when pressurised couldn't even push my waterstop hozelock connectors together and my Univalve wouldn't work. 100psi should be more than adequate for any system

Something else to consider is that the higher the pressure rating of the pump the higher the current draw will be on the battery.
