Help Support WCF:

Looks right 25mm = 1 inch if that helps looks like a John guest fitting plumbing wise 15mm Yorkshire fittings are referred to as 1/2 inch

It's the simple ideas in life that mash your head had to walk away from trolley when I first started as had loads of ideas bought all sorts of ***** from plumbers merchants even ended up butchering a 300gpd ro man on some ideas soon realised keep it to what's necessary

With the varistream set up I use rectus 26 fittings to the pole so if the pole is disconnected from the female connector this stops the pump so here goes a long description how I would do the setup after pump out hose to van panel plate or bumper plate this connection would be rectus 26 female at this stage I have no flow as the female is closed then connect 12.5mm linking hose with rectus 26 males either end on the spare end of link pipe would be my tap this would attach to my 100 mtr reel females both end holds water when both ends closed the pole with tap connects to hose via male rectus 26 the pole always self drains depending where the tap is not an indefinite way of doing it just my way

Yeah makes sense, gonna wack yet another ********************************ing order in at gardiner LOL and see what works best. I think we have enough hats and pens to open a small shop /emoticons/biggrin.png I wouldnt mind a beanie hat though, not gone /emoticons/biggrin.png

Going to be ordering a new pole soon as well i think or extensions i havent decided. £1500 on a pole Jesus lol

Did try hoselocks but didn't always stop the pump as the pressures highish the rectus gets it shut down everytime

Yeah we have millions of those rectus fittings. That what i use, one of the vans has got twin auto reeling 1/2 inch hose reels. That is cool!

Ahhh i wish, they are similar to the hozelock ones in gardens. But industrial quality.

My next van i do will have electric hose reels, I am hoping to use a winch type design layout.

Thought of adding a hose roller on door with wet brushes for removing cack of hose butagainneed some work and bigger van first some great ideas out there

Hi Damo,

Looking at fitting this http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/3-8-inch-push-fit-in-line-valve.html to gardiner pole hose is that correct.
To 3/8 GJ fittings fit 8mm OD pole hose........
I think you may have seen that's not the right one for pole hose (too big). 8mm is approx 1/4", 3/8" is just over 9.5mm

Gardiners (and we) do inline Push-Fit Flow Control Taps for pole hose. For the Gardiner hose, for a secure fit you may need some tube strengthening inserts (that we do) or the black John Guest stem to barb fittings, which we and Gardiners do.

Hope this helps.

Paul

Cheers paul ordered everything you have said and the wrong taps by the looks of things Oh well more spares lol

Dont matter, my dad told me the size and i said i am sure they are wrong. Not bothered, sent an email and swapped em about. Hopefully they will read the email before sending the goods !

You can use the taps inline for mechanical flow control near the pole if you want, that's why we stock them.

Well i have been using a double trim brush for a few days to "test" the weight. I got on with it ok.

So hoping maybe AD mk3XL and extreme brush. But need to test the weight more /emoticons/biggrin.png
