So I've had my power up hd along with the facelift compact for 2 weeks now and I seem to be taking longer on jobs than when I used a trolley system, but I guess I just have to get used to it, but the problem I keep getting is when I pull the hose out the guard of the power up keeps taking chunks out of the hose so it's already pretty battered after just 2 weeks, any way of avoiding this? I brought it so it would make my life easier but so far it's been the complete opposite ?

Used to get this on the manual reel very easy fix for that, never noticed on my power up hd tbh honest love my compact some jobs are best suited to a trolley I have quite a few jobs like that but the majority the van mount wins a hands down...

@Dave B had a van mount but his round wasn't suited to it so he went back to using a trolley as he found it much better.

For me with loads of terraced houses with having to walk round alleyways to the backs a trolley with 40m of hose on a reel is easier

Do all the fronts in a row then walj trolley round the back and do them

If on a normal house with access just leave trolley in van and pull hose out like a van mount
