Really useful feedback all, and I wouldn't want to kill a feature people rely on so this is seeming like a must have (for those who need it!) As I think about it, it's not just about getting paid, it's about reminding the customer who you are - maintains something of a relationship even though you often don't cross paths. Also, hard to ignore a slip (unlike an email) you're more likely to put it on the worktop or whatever and get round to sorting it (rather than just binning it).
