That's pretty much the sum of it. I've been with RAC and the price went up from £140 to £199 for delux all singing all dancing cover. At the same time our 4x4 forum supposedly negotiated a deal with AA where by new customers got delux for £99. I went on to AA's website only to discover that figure was not - as we had been told - a special discount for the forum. It was the rate for new customers to AA full stop. So then in trying to save myself the hassle of switching I phoned RAC and told them how much AA were offering the same cover for. I simply said can you match it? If not I'm going to the AA. It took them all of a nano second to say they would match it. The renewal was handled without me signing anything and that was that.me use aa one year and rac next year ....as they only give a discount to new customers....
Second that!yep thats what my son does bless him...dont really see why we have to do it ...what about a loyalty bonus...for people that stay put![]()
