Do it yourself mate, its very easy. Top tip though, cut them just a bit longer then what you think as they contract/shrink after a few days.:thumbsup:No way. She's chancing her arm and hoping for a freebie. A few seals have gone on my windows but that's just age related. Hmm ... I might employ a cleaner and blame him lol. Great idea.Whilst on the subject, who can I call to replace my seals please ? They are sandwiched extremely tightly between the frame and double glazing unit. Tried a Stanley knife but can only score the very top of the seal. They need replacing properly really. I'm thinking a local window fitting firm but they can be unhelpful if they didn't fit them in the first place
You'll find the answer in your WFP guidebook under 'troubleshooting'. ...1) Blame the previous trad cleaner.I had a costumer today saying that I had blew the seals on her windows with my water fed pole she said the pressure of the water had done this is this possible and as any one else been accused of this thanks
Anyone who does double glazing repairs. There are several business' in our area - in adverts they replace misted units. A window manufacturer wants to replace the complete window c/w with frame so isn't the right company to call.No way. She's chancing her arm and hoping for a freebie.
