Yeah I've seen loads of videos when was tryin to get it right, could never figure why it wasn't working for me lol.

As I've had my memory jogged, I did refine how I used this but same bottle, same resin is still in use and I've had a lot of pure water from it. Getting ready to change to another diy vessel but for the moment still spot free.

Well well well, on second thoughts I might not change resin after all. I should have kept a record of how much rainwater I've run through this but it's well into the thousands by now and it was tested today, not by me so ya know I'm not telling porkies GMeister tested it with his tds meter and first test was 001 second I'm sure he said was zero but could be wrong might have been same.

I don't even bother filtering it, I just added another layer of sponge on top of the other one and rinse the grit, seeds etc out when it needs it.
