I'm in the process of getting the bits together to put a DIY reach and wash setup together. Tested the water supply at home and getting a (seemingly) fairly low reading of 38-39ppm. I'm looking at RO systems and can see that some have a DI filter as well as the usual filters. Knowing that a lot of wfp cleaners put the water through a separate DI vessel after the RO system, am I going to need the separate DI vessel with that sort of reading? Or will it be more cost effective to use a 4-5 stage RO system with the DI filter on it? Or is it a case that the DI vessel is always needed no matter how low the ppm reading your starting with?
