Hi all

New to the forum which has been recommended to me by Andy Hill.

I've been cleaning a couple of months now and today did first clean on a new build which had round suction marks on the glass. The customer mentioned them so I wanted to do my best to get them off but struggling a little. I used cleaning chemical with no joy, then tried a solvent ...still no joy. I then scrubbed using a scouring pad with rubout and pink stuff which did make them less apparent but need more work.

Has anybody got an easy solution to remove these marks?

Any help much appreciated.

Ian

Funny you say this we did a builders clean  on a new commercial building and that had lattice marks on the glass outside you only see it when the glass is wet , I have tried everything on it and cannot remove it , the customer hasn’t said anything , it’s now a regular 6 weekly clean and every time it looks awful when the windows are wet but when dry they look amazing , you cannot feel anything on the glass it is perfectly smooth it’s not glue , or silicon , very strange never had it before .

Isopropyl alcohol has worked for me in the past - although it’s a bit hit and miss. Same with bar keepers friend. Unfortunately it’s one of the annoying ones that has beaten me most times!!
