Suspicious phone call

Hi all,

I received a phone call earlier from a guy with a travellers accent. He said he had a payment slip from me and gave an address for an area I don't cover and the street I don't recognise, he then went on to ask what nights I go out collecting at which point I told him I think he's made a mistake. It may be nothing, but any of you aware of anything like this?

No mate but I've had experience of their many and varied attempts in the past, when I lived in rural Ireland. In the end I used to walk quietly to the gate with my best buddy, Woody, our 86kg, entire (un-neutered) Bullmastiff. He would make his displeasure very obvious and they'd move on smartly.

Treat it very suspiciously! Theres been a spate of it in my local area. Couple blokes been doing the rounds saying they are there to collect payment on behalf of whatever your company name is.

next time     just say all pay online.       surely they wouldn't just knock on ramdon doors trying a scam

too many would phone the police

I reckon its more likely to be @RWCleaning personally. It's more his MO. Steve would be more likely to call you up and tell you to f**k off ?
