Tds reader not working

My tds reader is being dodgy. Is there anyway to fix them or is it time to buy a new one? You can't see what reads, just wondered if there is any battery in it what's easily replaced?

I fixes mine the other week it was doing that, the battery had corroded a bit and I cleaned it up

If it's a hand held one like that then you can push in where a slot is on the back with a flat head screw driver or push in with your nail and pop the top out.

My batteries have AG13 on them.

Yes it's same as that Dean, I've got it off but when I put it back together it's not fixed. Can anything be replaced to fix it?

also don't forget to calibrate them every few months to keep them in shape

Other than changing the batteries not

sure what else can be done.

there should be a little flat head screw thing on the back u need to get some pure water which you know is 0ppm and turn the screw ever so slightly

Change te batterys and have a look if anything looks corroded and try to clean it up.

Otherwise bin it

Yeah that's them. The 2 round ones in the middle. You can buy a pack of batteries that will have that size and a whole lot more for like £4.99 or get those ones out of your meter and take them to a Tesco or Asda and they will sell them in packs of 2.

TBH seems a no brainier had mine 7 months still works like New only use three times a week for a few seconds.
