What pole are you using?

Currently a ninja, technically gf but the weight of cf, but the bit what connects it to the brush is basically plastic overflow pipe, my old salmon used to break it, the gardiner sill brush doesn't, we'll it takes ages!

What the inner diameter of the top section? Cant you hack saw the part that brakes and replace with something more robust?

If the inner diameter is odd! Use a short spacer with the correct diameter for the insert. Epoxy the spacer in the pole first. I haven’t seen it, so none of this may make any sense.

Get an alu unger cranked joint and cut the a 2-3" tip off it, file the burrs off and simply slide on in place of the plastic tip. I would slightly bell end the alu first with a conical mandrel or steel garden planter. Also pad the gf tip with a wrap or two of pvc tape, I find Lakeland plastics or homebase cheaper than online.Blimey is it still going chip ??? /emoticons/smile.png

Hi jeff, yep it's still going, in a fashion anyway, I tape up the sections after they wear and it holds out for a few weeks, sometimes months, and do it again. Couple of cracked sections now, again PVC tape to the rescue, there's probably more tape than gf! But while it lasts I'll keep using it.

No, it's not threaded. Unfortunately jeff, I've no idea of what tackle you've just described, any chance of a pic or link of the aforementioned products, I'll probably recognise them when I see them, but I'm one of those blokes who just makes up his own names!

Cheers jeff. Btw, are you selling many these days, or is there any other ideas fermenting?
