Telescopic pole advice

I've just gotten a new moerman 4 section telescopic pole, do any of you fellow trad-ers use any lubricants to keep the locking mechanisms from causing any problems?

@Trad\-Man use trad poles a fair bit, maybe they'll know

I use harris poles and just give it a regular wipe and a spray of wd40 on the clamps

I never do them up too tight..just enough so the sections don't swivel in use

That's what I've done, I was just wondering if anyone used anything else. How often do you do it?

Occasionally or whenever i use a pole for a gutter job as it will get grit all over it so i will wash and then spray it

I rarely use my trad poles nowadays so it is just the odd occasion it will need a spray

Cheers again for your advice mate. I'll be using my pole more regular now a days so I'll just do it every two or three weeks. Wd40 isn't expensive.
