Too regular ?

the price needs to be raised. your the boss. I do seem to get fond and chatty with some customers but have realised that some will dump you as soon as the next windie canvasses offering cheaper prices. We all have regular reliable customers but you must realise if everyone went 3 monthly for a monthly price we will certainly loose out on cash flow intake.
i have just got 6 new customers wanting my service .around an extra Β£90 income. This is great as you can easily dump bad payers or sell them on .
Ive started to let customers know 2/3 monthly cleans are charged extra price.

Personally feel 3 monthly is not worth the effort 4 visits per year, if it’s decent size and price commercial then fine but not domestic
Agreed i have around 20 houses on her street so am going to stop completely and let them approach me when they are ready and then they will be hit with the one off clean pricing πŸ‘πŸ»

If it was me I wouldn't have apologized for raising price by a pound you have costs and time and effort, it's either that or I will have to cancel your account and I can just replace you going forward.
Customers take the **** if you let them, I do a five week clean my minimum charge is Β£14.

Have to agree with this.
Don’t ask for permission, don’t apologise.
Just tell them it’s going up Β£2.00 or whatever. Thank them for their custom. And that’s it.

You could try a compromise. You could say you don't offer quarterly cleaning but could offer every other time for Β£xx
Doesn't have to be that, but just work out what it would take to be worth it and give them the option.
If it's not worth it in any case then just tell them that's not possible as you only clean on a monthly schedule without exceptions, ask them if that's ok or if they would like to be removed from the round.
They may decide to keep it regular over winter rather than losing you altogether.

Moved all of ours onto 6 & 12 weekly in April. It’s working really well. Far fewer cancellations since doing that. When signing people up there are far less people asking for one offs because 4 times a year seems like a minimum to most people

I usually just reply β€œno probs, let me know when you next need them done and we’ll work something out”.

I had one a few months back, skipped a clean the night before, I let it go because it was a first offence. Then skipped the next clean the night before so I sent the above message. Then got a message asking me to send someone on a Friday or Monday as soon as possible, specifically those days for the dog. I explained that round is done on Wednesday and Thursday. Agreed the day and then explained it would be Β£12 more. Didn’t hear back πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ sometimes I prefer that though
