Well I been cleaning windows traditional now for 5 years and have always bad mouthed the wfp thinking it would be no good. I have been picking up alot of new work, that is a bit higher than I like to be up a ladder, windows over roofs, and windows that take 2-3 jumps to get.. So I decided to invest in a system! After hours of cursing and banging and buying wrong conndctions I finally finished setting it all up. I got it out yesterday to have a good on my own windows.. I was like a kid on Xmas morning!

I used quite alot of water and the place was soaked! I had the controller on 35. I will definitely be buying a tap holster next. I know it will take time to get the hang of things. But after all my bad thoughts on this system before, I can honestly say, wfp is the future.. There was a few spotting marks on the glass, but other than that it's a good job.

I started to mention to my customers last week, that next time I'll be round it will be with the pole. Not one person asked why or how, they were like yes work away I don't mind.. One girl I couldn't do a few windows due to access problems, also she didn't get her frames down, and after I said I can now do it all she was like *bleep* happy days!

I have learnt from this site that if anyone has a problem with me doing the pole, then just to give them an ultimatum, it's pole or get someone else. And now I realise that it isn't worth climbing ladders and stepping off trying to reach stupid windows for a few quid and this is what customers need to realise!

Anyway, I'm well pleased with the system. Will be looking into getting a backpack next. Took today off to go looking for new higher work!!

Good luck with it. Since I got my backpack I have now told custieI can do windows over Connies etc & it's great. Just gives you that little more scope.

I have now also purchased a wfp , i got a 28ft from the cleaning warehouse and bought a backpack from gardiners so i can do conny roofs etc and hard to reach windows etc .

Just gotta get the rest of my gear sorted only ordered 1 di vessel as ran out of money but need 2 di's as my water is coming out at 240 ppm from the tap .

Gav your going to use di with 240ppm ?

You need an ro.... if it was 150ppm then fair enough. but 240 !

And gardiners backpack ? any good mate?

Well done mate i think we were all like kids in sweet shops when we first gotwfp it dont worry about a few spots we all had problems at first a few months time and you will flying though it

Cheers pal, I done my mums too, my da done the back lol, they were amazed!

The spots where right in the middle but had 2 wee panes top and was running down between the frame. The windows that was 1up 1down where fine. I done the insides and was starring out and it just looked like there was no glass haha.

Another problem.. My hose reel leaking from the connection in middle of reel so need to take the whole hose off!

That is a common fault use a bent brass elbow with some ptfe should be fine dont use plastic

That's what I have on it, I gave all connections a good layer of ptfe too, and on with o clips..

How do you get o clips off? Lol
