Do trolleys need a variable speed controller or can it just have an on/off and then a valve you can open manually?

Also does anyone have a pictures of theirs - outside N in /emoticons/smile.png

Thanks

Dave

My first backpack had no controller.

So just used a tap to control the flow.

Which was mounted on a trolley system.

I am buying my new trolley ASAP.

It's gonna be awesome /emoticons/biggrin.png

Ahhh ok ideal. So all I really need is trolley, water butt, hose from water butt to pump, pump (battery and switch with pump) the hose from pump to a hose lock adaptor? Which the pole plugs into??

Is that right??

Yer that's right, if you find your using to much water then a controller can be added at a later date

Nice one RC thanks' date=' was thinking of a tap instead[/quote']You can control it with a tap, but if the pump pulses turning on and off fast you can do damage to the pump in time,

So basically once you find the right adjustment/pressure then leave it be??
Yes and no, you still got to turn it on and off at tap, so it would be trying to find that balance again.

Or just turn it on fully and turn off fully.

Just install a tap somewhere on the trolley hidden and leave it alone.

Then install another tap somewhere it is easy to get to. You can then just turn the main tap on and off.

I have done this before, and it

Does work. I would go with a proper flow controller though.
