Got my uni valve from EX CEED today,       needed 9-11mm O rongs,       for my gardiners reinforced hose  @ 9mm od.     Asked ste what rings to add,     hes only gone and sent me the 6-9mm  O rings to secure my UNI valve.        If your on here ste can you send out the 9-11 O rings.   Ive emailed you but you must be too busy to reply.

I always found the o rings leaked after a few weeks on the uni valve. Swapped mine for theses clips from halfords. Million times better and re usable. They do 6mm and 9mm.

I personally would be rather concerned about using those let alone recommending @johnny bravouse them.

The thread of the bolt and possibly the bolt head will be wider and protrude either side of the UniValve so there is the possibility that these will scratch and eventually damage the inside of the pole during application.

My Univalves are faily close to the brush heads so are inside the top pole sections of all our poles.  So I believe there is a really possibility of causing internal pole damage.

My opinion though as I haven't seen the end result. But they appear to be the same clamps that my Webasto diesel heater uses, hence the concern.

I read this just before going to bed last night and had the same thought. The upper clamp will probably not cause much of a problem but the lower one might as its constantly moving as the univalve is operated. Must admit I wouldn't use them.

I currently use PU pole hose and don't use clips at all, and I don't have leak issues with the univalve connections.  Strangely, I do though with the JG fitting at the bottom of the pole. I also get quite a bit of water in my pole due to splashback. Always have.

You could be right I did cut the tread of the bolt down a bit before putting it in the pole. Think after read your comments I will take it out and put some electric tape round it for now. Just got fed up with the o rings leaking after a few weeks.

The only splash back i get is on toilet,      I al least thought ex ceed would send 3 O rings out in the post 1st class so i could add my uni valve asap.   without any leaks not using O rings

he answered quickly when i asked him what size i needed before i ordered      NOT  the after service i expected.     Ill have to go out and order some now,

i certainly wouldnt use the nut & bolt,     more weight than the 0 rings.

My work is great,     My ownly down fall is  how to upgrade my 300 RO    to a more productive  Ro

Your first step is to find out why you have such a low flow of water to your property.

Could it be that a previous tenant didn't pay his water bill and the water board 'cut' his water off? They do they by putting a restrictor in the water line as they have to allow a trickle of water to the property due to health and safety reasons.
