The only chemical I've used is on Velux windows that are below a tree and haven't been cleaned in years!

I just bought the degreaser from Screwfix 

Results have been good, its the only time i use it.

Majority of jobs - pure and hot water does the job the occasional one which is extremely bad virosol.

I actually can't remember the mix, think what was on the bottle maybe a little bit more for extra strength, Left it on for about 10mins. long enough for it to work but not dry completely
