Hello all I am thinking about moving to a house with a meter and would like to know your experiences with this. Can you put the water down as expenses through your business and if so how do you / the water company know what's being used for work and what is general use. Thanks in advance

I would suggest you use the search button at the top right hand corner as there are many aspects to claiming water for window cleaning use. Yes, its a business expense so would require a sub-meter to identify and separate household and window cleaning use. You also need to find out how you will dispose of your waste water if you are using an r/o and then approach your local water board for options.
