Pure water

Hi.

Silly question. I live in a hard water area and have recently brought a wfp backpack system which includes the Unger filter to make pure water.

I know ideally you have 0 ppm. But what is the highest ppm that you would recommend before you start getting marks on glass?

Pure Freedom say 8, I've used 12, unknowingly, with no complaints.

I've actually used tap water while doing conny roofs etc and had spotless results on windows while using tap water to get the majority of dirt off the frames and glass. I did use pure after just in case.

I'll tell you what does work well on minging glass is Screwfix no nonsense degreaser. The glass comes up a treat after being sprayed with it.
