Love all those but still loving my hyundai iload crew cab at moment for family too not ideal but couple years think upgrading to another van on road work only and still tempted for another hyundai iload panel this time though.. cheers

Really pleased with my Nissan NV200, it replaced my trusty vauxhall combo.

Fitted it out myself diy, have it on lease and was comparable price to a berlingo.

I bought it outright at 12 months old with 4500 miles on it. I paid £12500 for it which I'll save in diesel over five years.

What's the payload think electric could hav a great spin on advertising pure water and emission free the green window cleaning company that sort of thing.

Payload is 702kg which allows me a 500l tank and all my gear. I purify water at home and fill up from a storage tank now. Previously I had a van mounted Ionic system. I just rebuilt it in the garage and bought a couple of tanks.

The range is a minimum of 60 miles depending on weather, temperature etc. My longest round is 54 miles but there's a rapid charger en route just in case the wife wants me to run errands!

It works for me but only as a one man band. Larger payload/range vans are on the way but may be a while yet!

Honestly love the idea of the electric van and can't wait until they bring higher payload out as most of my work is within 5 miles of my house do have two days month where I travel about 10 mile away from my house so the limited range isn't a problem for me it's just the payload as I sometime have my son helping ( backpack extra 25 litrecontainers) his weight and I'm a lump of a weight on my own without all the equipment.

It depends on how much water you use. I'm sure I could get away with 400 litres which would give me an extra 100kg to play with.

I've been reading up on them , is it true if the battery goes it's 5k odd to replace ?? They are the future and slowly but surely they are putting diesels off the road. Just heard that they are putting tax up on all cars even the ones that had no road tax to begin with!

I have no experience of electric vans/vehicles but always wonder why people buy them. I know there greener on emissions but they still create some sort of waste/pollution in creating the energy to charge them,

coupled with battery performance and replacement costs.

Hybrid where the energy the vehicle creates recharges its self or even hydrogen power, if they can perfect the technology has to be the future..

That said your van looks great DRS and obviously works well for you

Battery replacement is a non issue. It's like worrying about the cost of an engine when you buy a new van! Batteries are lasting 150,000 miles plus and deteriorate slowly reducing range rather than just stopping. There are also companies starting to refurbish battery packs back to 100%.

Hydrogen is a dead end and IMO a non starter, batteries will be so good by the time they solve all the hydrogen problems that nobody will want one.

Hybrid is an intermediate step but still has an engine. Whether it's a basic hybrid or a range extended EV, there will probably be a place for them.

I say to myself why have hybrid when you can have electric, what's the room like in them? They look Berlingo size or are they bigger? The only thing stopping me would be room for my pressure washer and the 3rd seat that gets used but seldom

What size tank is the max pay load for your van? I looked at these and they are a smart van

The max payload is 740kg.

Mines got a 350ltr wydeale upright in it, over the back axle. Twin sliding doors as standard, very handy. Theres loads of room in it, and they really feel like a bigger van.

The electric e200 incredibly has a higher payload of 770kg.
