No a backpack is for hard to access properties or areas of work more than 100m away from the van as an example.Isn't the idea of backpacks to also reduce consumption? ie stop water flow once your off the window. However that estimate does help 100-175 litres per hour, thank you
Using a van mounted system with the appropriate split charge system you can run indefinitely as long as you have water onboard. A backpack will go flat if you are hammering it all day at various flow rates.
A univalve or one shot style wireless remote control system saves water not backpacks
