Top piece I used believe it or not part of an aliminium clothes line prop that I nicked off me mum lol and it fits lovely, would have left it as is for the extra 1.5 metres but thinner piece was exactly that 'too thin' and flimsy. Bottom piece I haven't done yet I'm looking around for a piece of aliminium tube or something as light and strong that'll slip over bottom of Harris. Tightened with a jubilee clip with a key type screw head but looking for something more suitable, and hacksawed down end of Harris so when jubilees tightened it grips extension.

I almost left threaded end on bentley brush shaft and used that as it actually fits snug inside Harris but way too flimsy and would rust as well.
