any of you 50 ish lads lost it completley & grown a beard for the first time.

i have in competition with my eldest lad but he jacked in & now im left with it & the mrs wants me to keep it

Funny enough yes. I've now got 3 weeks growth & my misses actualy likes it. Might keep it for the winter for warmth.

Strangely I have just grown a beard. Just for a change, no other reason. Oh and I'm a mere boy of only 45 years. :)

Hit 50 and I grew a pony tail - what a knob :) Gone now so just had to grow a beard. God knows what possessed me. Going to shave it off now and grow the tail back, losing it bigtime :)

I've got mousey brown hair (shaved off) but my beard grows through pretty ginger. You've got to embrace it mate.
