Cleaned the roof on outbuilding.

No pressure washer used just a fair bit of scrubbing after a soak in softwash solution.

Rinsed it all off as I went along. The white lichen was especially tough to get off, the roof is 13 yrs old and never been touched but got it looking better in the end.

I would have sprayed some benz biocide on it afterwards and the white lichen stains should remove itself over a month or 2 and add that into the price

It's expensive stuff but as you use it 50:1 ratio it isn't expensive per job

Yes I was thinking that would round the job off nicely daveyboy.

That one is actually my roof at home so I will get some Biocide to spray on.

If I was to spray the other side with the biocide first and leave for a few weeks or couple of months will that make the job easier if I was to apply the Hypo after that?

No need to go stronger than 3:1 really as that is nearly a 4% strength

I don't use more than 4% for anything except stubborn black lichen spots where i will spot treat it neat with a small spray bottle
