Transfer pump recommendations

Hi all,
Wondering what pumps people use to transfer pure water from storage tank at premises to van? I use a small submersible pump that can fill 300L in 25-30 mins but obviously could do with a faster, more powerful pump. Can anyone recommend or link me please?

Hi there, I use a submersible pump with a high litres per hour output.

If you want to cut the fill time down use a bigger bore transfer hose say inch and a half. 

That's where you will get a faster transfer rate from say using garden hosepipe.

I could fill 300 litres in say 5 mins.

I use one of these with 1 1/4 “ hose and it fills my 650 in around 6 minutes.

Thank you! Heard a lot about these...where did you get your hose from? 

Do these come with a standard UK plug or battery clips?

hose also from screwfix. Also I Use a jubilee clip (from screwfix) to keep,hose on spigot of pump. 

The pump has a uk plug with RCD trip switch built into it.

Thanks very much. Will pick one up tomorrow and see how I get on! Much appreciated. 

You may have to cut away part of the collar of your storage tank to get the pump in the tank. I had to do that. Most decent pumps seem to be the same diameter. It’s a bit of a pain but I used a dremel to do that.
