Concrete Pillars

Yes a karcher would probably do for a job like that, but it will take longer to do than a petrol power washer would. I don't use chemicals when I'm powerwashing as the pressure of the water removes any stains except for oil which requires chemicals

The potential problems I can see on this are similar to how I deal with a busy side of my business. I you trained to clean headstones and I have cleaned many that now look like new ( I can post pic's if you want me to bore you )

Anyway I'm guessing what smurf means is staining on stone would be to some degree in the stone, most stone even concrete is slightly porous. Therefore just blasting it with water even high power like mine 250 bar honda washer wouldn't really help. A turbo nozzle still would not extract dirt.

I would clean it with chemicals by hand like I clean memorials......but if you dont know how or what chemicals i would pass on the job mate.

Sorry this does not help you complete the job, it's just my advice.

Yeah mate, the main problem you would have is the height of the pillar. Clean it with just a pressure washer and it will be very hard not to finish with it stripy because of cut marks. You'd have to clean it from bottom to top to avoid chemical streaks.
