why do the van doors on the dispatch new model keep locking when you start to drive off, you stop to work, go to open rear doors and they are locked, having to open with fob, havent really looked at manual, its a safety device ill have to get used to

Surely there must be away to turn it off. my family car do it.....which is fine...but how annoying at work...so much time wasted lol

These are safety devices and are a welcome addition in crime areas. Citroen will be able to put it onto their Lexia (or whatever it's called now) computer and alter the BSI control module settings for that particular option to how you want it. However, I expect there will be a cost to do it.

Evans Halshaw Citroen on Yarm road are a pain to deal with, but you could try that Citroen repair workshop behind the Thornaby Police station. I haven't used them, but have heard good reports.

Our Citroen Xsara locks the boot lid automatically once you drive off and reach a certain speed, but not the doors.

I think the rear locks are a good idea. It doesn't take much to press the button to unlock the back. Plus it saves your gear getting robbed at traffic lights too

I don't know about the citreon, but my renault megane used to do this. If you hold the central lock button for 5 secs or more it toggles the auto lock on or off.

Did you ever get this problem fixed I was happy opening it will the switch inside the cab but when I press it now it no longer opens the back door and I need to take the keys out to do it with wfp cleaning I have loads of stops in a day that’s very annoying
