Depends how high you want to go. I think you can't go wrong with an SLX-22 but sometimes you need a few more feet for Velux windows etc. I've got a 22' and a 35'. The 35' maybe comes out once a day.

brush you need a xline any of them

pole gardiner slx 25 plus one ex will get you to 98% of work there great poles and take a massive beating from me and my staff as we don't ever look after them , never clean them of wash them out because we have a life and when were finshed our last jobs that's it for us

we run xtreme 47s with up you 4 ex great poles but you need to look after them and they need cleaning and washing and hugged on cold morning because they get cold , they don't get used much only on four storeys and up maybe three times aweek on each van for us the lads like them but wouldn't have them as daily poles

we use to run slx 22s but got sick of changing them on three storys , so we replaced them with 25s there only abit longer and there no real differants in the weight but we rarely change poles now duering the day

Been looking at the slx 25 as my phoenex 25ft reaches all my work. Are they fairly rigid my phoenex is carbon but not as rigid as I would of thought.

22' rigid as funk but 35' fully extended is a bit whippy.

.
I have the SLX 22 and the Phoenix 22. The SLX is more rigid and a better pole IMO. Ive had the SLX for 3 years and the Phoenix for 1 year. I only use the Phoenix for Gutter work as it seems 'whippy' compared to the SLX

i have had a pheonix22 and now got a slx22 the difference in stiffness wasent mch between them i thault but my pheonix was worn out after 12 months lol also i had a go on @Bishy 25ft slx and alltho there is nuffin in the waight between them the 22 is a fair bit shorter when not extended so its easer to manage in tite areas, another poler to throw in the mix is the xline now that did fiel nce i realy liked the clamps on it

Ordered the slx 30 with super-lite mixed medium brush. Also ordered the medium mixed sill brush to try out and treated my self to the gardener backpack for round the back of some terrace houses I do. They should arrive tomorrow and it's fair to say I'm a bit excited /emoticons/biggrin.png

I think the closest thing to a good all round brush is a sill brush, good for first cleans as well, gets cobwebs out of corners and good scrubbing action and of course ideal for sills especially with a swivel plastic neck.

I always said that a standard brush could do anything a sill brush can do......until I got a sill brush. I was amazed how much green moss and dirt came off using far less effort. I don't use anything else now

xline poles are to heavy and there life span is short , ive seen three xline poles hanging after a years worth of work there not good if you work them hard and don't look after them like a baby ,

your 25ft pole will cover your high work , I would go for 22ft gardiner great pole will cover most work and nice and light

another thought bearing in mind you have 25ft already, would slx 18ft be a gd buy shorter pole and lighter
