They obviously have no knowledge of what they're doing then as lichen isn't a problem.I put out another FB shout got one chap who was interested until I mentioned lichen and said he couldn’t do it and I would need a specialist company.
Yeah he’s over in Great Yarmouth by the looks of it, 93 miles away.Try googling odd bods cleaning services Darren is a good guy and he’s in your general area

How old are those panels??? I could be wrong but it looks like water has got between the glass and the actual inner workings of the panel , we have cleaned tens of thousands of panels over the years and I have never seen anything like that beforeheres a pic of the panels. apart from the lichen whats causing the milky grey patch in the lower right corner of each panel?

The white haze is moisture ingress through delamination, I've seen this on a much smaller scale with utility street furniture enclosures used within traffic signalling where they use A4 size polycrystalline panels to power a backup charge circuit within a switching system. How old are those panels??? Be interesting to see what the comparison in performance between that array and another that's not showing the same signs of wear and tear
Not sure what the warranty period is but if it’s 7 years old would have thought it’s probably expired . Let us know what the outcome is .the array is about 7 years old. these are Solarworld panels that were made in Germany and supposed to be the muts nuts.
ive emailed the company who installed them and said its thought this is water ingress. the problem is the company Solarworld Germany have gone bust. but i would assume the warranty should be covered by a third party incase of them going bust?

The unfortunate thing is that a guarantee in some instances is only valid for the companies trading life unless they've used a broker or holding company.im a homeowner and had the system put in in 2014. they are managing 3kw on a clear day but previously used to get a solid 3.6kw, as there is actually 4kw of panels up there.
the warranty on the panels is 25 year linear performance warranty and 10 year product warranty. so someone needs to step up.
the installers still in business and there guarantee is 10 years so would claim on them i guess. The unfortunate thing is that a guarantee in some instances is only valid for the companies trading life unless they've used a broker or holding company.
Also check online to see if the manufacturer's name cross references with a receiver or bankruptcy case
