    That post about waste tds

Excuse my total lack of knowledge but how is waste TDs more than incoming water TDs? Is it as simple as its more concentrated?

Van system 600gpd to/di set up

It comes with like a stainless steel Flexi pipe so I took the wooden boxing off the wheel arch , figured out where the edge of wheel arch inner was and went just in towards centre of van slightly and dropped a stainless liner through and then the exhaust inside that, packed with exhaust wadding...

    Leisure battery

Yes sorry Steve I should explain, by discharged I mean so the pump slows which probably equates to 12.3 ish v. All lead acid batteries won't hold the same charge if they are left in a discharged state for a long period of time I might add.  Leisure batteries are designed to be used for low...

    Leisure battery

One thing to note is that leisure batteries are designed to be used until flat and recharged, running leisure batteries off a split charge constantly isn't what the acid plates were designed to take.    If people are running a split charge system I would recommend a decent van battery as the...

what ppm figures are you getting?

Your prefilters are knackered. Change all 3 before it kills a membrane. It could only be one filter but if they are the usual 10" ones they cheap as anything.

Van system 600gpd to/di set up

Fitted my Toyota hiace out last year with a self build system which is a 650l flat lay tank, 2 hose reels, diesel night heater, 600gpd system with 24v booster pump which literally doubles the pressure and output of pure along with bringing TDS from 10 at 40psi to 3 at 90psi.    Ply lined it...

Are window cleaners still allowed to work during Coronavirus (Covid-19)?

The worst case I suppose is they stop the payment from next year after seeing your tax return for march April may or other income into bank accounts . This is fair as if you aren't affected you shouldnt be claiming the grant.  Ive signed onto PAYE and if get the work it will be on my tax return...

Are window cleaners still allowed to work during Coronavirus (Covid-19)?

Exactly my sentence to the agency, but again it's like pot kettle black for me as I'm not window cleaning but willing to jump in a wagon and deliver supplies. Suppose that is essential mind. ??

Are window cleaners still allowed to work during Coronavirus (Covid-19)?

Yeah I'm waiting on induction process at coop/or NHS logistics. Signed onto agency last Monday but there's a shortage of inductors for site so sat here waiting!

Are window cleaners still allowed to work during Coronavirus (Covid-19)?

Yes it's hard to know what to do and I get that as I was 'shall I shall I not' for days last week but my van hasn't turned a key since last Tues and I can't see it doing until I can do it safely.  The government are paying me to sit here and my customers that I have contacts for Inc businesses...

Are window cleaners still allowed to work during Coronavirus (Covid-19)?

Dave don't take this the wrong way but your part of the very real problem as now I take it personally as I have a in-law infected from no wrong doing of her own. I don't blame you personally obviously as you haven't been out yet but collectively people who are moving about when we get told to...

Are window cleaners still allowed to work during Coronavirus (Covid-19)?

Thought I'd drop back on here after a few days off the internet, I was starting to be glued to me phone ! Nice to see we still chatting about the obvious. The less obvious however is how some folk catch this Corona. My wife's grandma, who lives alone and hasn't had anyone apart from the shopping...

Are window cleaners still allowed to work during Coronavirus (Covid-19)?

Absolutely the right decision. We as collective cleaners are no different to any other person on lockdown. We do have the potential to spread it no matter how careful we are. As for Chris choi , he was sat on ITV as a ITV employee being asked questions by ITV ?, go figure. As far as I'm aware he...

Are window cleaners still allowed to work during Coronavirus (Covid-19)?

Carry on as normal?!  just be wary of folk not appreciating you wandering around unnecessarily! We are all in the same boat and the longer folk are moving about the longer it will take to get back to normal. I'm probably assuming you ain't going to be popular on here or out on the street when...

Are window cleaners still allowed to work during Coronavirus (Covid-19)?

Your customers won't prop up your business when negative publicity takes over. You are not an essential worker.   I can't understand how hard it is for people to understand. NHS and logistics are the two main essential areas. We are window cleaners, not exactly something folk can't do without...

Are window cleaners still allowed to work during Coronavirus (Covid-19)?

Personally I work not on what I've physically collected in my hand(cash basis) but on what work I've done and earned and that is what is put in

Are window cleaners still allowed to work during Coronavirus (Covid-19)?

I would imagine you will have to put this through your accounts as normal as it is for self employed. Bear in this mind when you work out money in your account you will have to 'save' 20% for the bill.    If you don't earn much more in the next tax year then in theory yes but this money is...
