HI we have a twin user system that as got a fault on the second user system (flojet pumps) facelift system its works fine then drops ,stops, runs again then seams to be ok
checked all connectors all seam ok when we use both pumps the second one struggles any idea . thought about rewiring and doing a second battery connection to see if this is the issue
totally stumped my opinion is its a electric fault some where

How long u had pump for? My shuffling died after 2.5 years last wk but think some resin got stuck in it as bits still get thru filter

HI its 5 years old all was fine till i changed the battery we have a split relay charger on this went from a simple work them a issue we check the strainers to see if any deposits regally from the resin as you say they do get through

You have 2 pumps and controllers and 1 is iffy.
You can swap the pumps and see if the fault moves with the pump - if it does it's a pump issue. If the issue stays then it's either the controller or the pipework.
Hope that gives you some clues?

HI will give this a go thanks for the info ps been at this game 38 yrs only now i av a issue only wheni changed the battery guess it a a faulty wire but cant blood d find this will do as you say and swap pumps cheers

Sounds like an electrical problem. I would also suspect the battery has a low charge.
If you are just using a split charge relay to recharge your battery, we found we also had to supplementary charge ours in the evening.

I had to replace my pump yesterday morning first thing as I just couldn't get the pump to even cycle nevermind pump water!took apart my old one,all the little holes were blocked with leaves!I don't have a filter before the pump because it's just not practical in my heater cabinet.the pump is just over 2 years old....

I had resin stuck in all the little holes in my other one a few years ago due to connecting up a resin vessel the wrong way flooding my tank with resin.i hoovered my tank out with a wet n dry vac and I've been very careful to keep my tank clean but obviously not enough.

If you take the pump apart and unblock the holes your pump will be like new again.?

If there is a battery charge issue, try running your engine and switching that pump on. If it runs ok, it's not the pump, but could well be a battery issue charge or faulty electrical connection @cassaman

Have you recalibrated the controller running that pump? If you run the engine, does the pump run normally? Have you swapped pumps around? Have you 'removed' the pump's pressure switch from the circuit?
