I had a fuse go on my system earlier, changed it carried on working for a while and tried reeling in my electric reel and it wouldn't stop reeling in, so kept pressing the buttons trying to stop it, now it doesn't work at all. Ive charged my leisure battery back up to see if this would help but I'm still get the DE coming up on the controller, any help would be appreciated.

What brand of reel do you have?
Do you have a push button to reel in as sometimes they can fail.
DE usually means the device connected to the controller is pulling too much current. So My guess is the button is stuck powering the reel. Can you disconnect the button?
Can you use a multimeter to check the button?

Guessing the button has got stuck and it’s either blown the fuse or burnt the motor out
