I swap poles often most weeks just to experiment between pheonix 22 and slx 25, the slx is harder on the forearms due to being larger diameter, the weight isnt an issue, slightly slower due to clamps but is super rigid and is built to last, real quality item.
The pheonix is easier to use daily due to its slightly smaller collapsed length, the clamps are beautiful to use but wear out very quickly and the pole sections just dont have that quality of the slx,
My dream pole is an slx with vertical clamps with the same grip and quality as the current smart clamps
