For the money it looks ok to me as the price of that package new is nearly a grand without the water butt and what looks like to me a 600 ltr ibc storage tanks. http://www.purefreedom.co.uk/pure-freedom-25-litre-trolley-system-package-p-288.html

The pole is not great as is fibreglass I think but would get you started but being quite short you may struggle with awkward/taller work. When it says 21' reach it looks to me it's actually an 18' pole.

The ro looks to me a 200 gpd unit so will be slow to produce pure water but its fine if used as a static system to make pure.

If the chap has not responded by now it’s probably been sold anyway but if he still has it then worth making him an offer for it and see what he says.

The other option is to price up bits to make a diy van system instead that can be made up from used or new parts which is quite easy to put together yourself. Then the bits you would need for a static ro/di system.

Unfortunately wfp gear can soon mount up so might be best to keep looking out for bargain good used kit.

Hey, soz just read after the other message. I'm impressed with people's diy trolleys, it's just, can I find the time... If my wife had her way I'd be doing housework all day every day :-(

I've just been out and got my self the new hero 4 black for gutter work this weekend :)) pics to follow. Whats the best way to mount it to the pole and whats the best setting to work with when hoovering for the live feed

Opps just charged it to turn it on and find out I forgot to buy a sd card haha off to the shops again.

You will want a few more bit than just a micro sd card that's for sure /emoticons/biggrin.png

Yeh I intend to get some more batteries and also a car charger for it.

How do you attach it to the end of your pole I was thinking of butchering a goose neck and putting a gopro mount on that to do my "gutter health checks" and see how that went.

I got one of these. Sonys answer to the gopro http://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/actioncam/hdr-az1-kit

Got it for £250 in store at sony asking them to price match. It's more bullet camera size than the gopro and the live view remote is great, tiny screen but you can see all you need. Has an app just like the gopro. Only downside is spares. I've scratched the hell out of the case in front of the lens and a new one is £40. I need to be more careful

The reasons why I went for a gopro is that spares, fittings and accessories are easily available as used as a gutter cam it would get a very hard life.

And you do not have to buy genuine gopro ones, they are not cheap, cheaper replacements are avaiable.if they brake yoy get a new one for a fiver..

I use that larger type clamps for my gutter vac http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=291183221628

also these smaller type clamps to fit smaller stuff like wfp, harris poles etc

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=291183221628Smurf and I bought this to attach gopro to the gutter pole so it will be ok for harris painting pole or wfp for surveys

To be honest I didn't read everything above:rolleyes: but nowadays everyone should have a smartphone so all we need is just a wireless camera...
