Agree with the others , a Very important thing on the first clean , is to give those frames a good scrubbing and flush. Then Always clean Those frames before the glass. Of course it gets far easier with the maintenance cleans as they Arent that dirty.

Southend on Sea. You will probably have to scub and rinse more on the coast like we have to on the North Coast. This applies to maintenance cleans as well, as the salt sea spray does make cleaning more difficult. Try to stick to a shorter maintenance cleaning cycle at say 4 weeks if possible. We find some of the windows terrible just after 2 weeks if the wind is blowing in off the sea.

You do need to price the job right as well due to the increased time it will take cleaning windows that are affected by the sea spray.

Before you start cleaning spend a few moments and check both the top and bottom windows looking for difficult to see bird strikes. Try to remove them from the bottom to the top - ground floor first, first floor second. Once that's done then start cleaning as you have learnt.
