Yer they are only about 2-3 months old.But will the wipers ??
You can do a pre not check yourself in about 30 minutes. Also make sure it's clean /emoticons/smile.png
mines a 'y' reg so it is a old banger! lol i dod try to do most work myself but with limited kit its hard to do a lot of it, all the basics get done. got a good garage thats not over priced that i take my van to, once you find a good garage they look after you as you take van and car to them, plus they get to know it to.Just put both mine in for a few bits and bobs, not there MOT, but still they needed looking at. £400 worth of repairs between both of them, and I will still have there MOT in Feb, to look forward to.
With the £40 per hour labour rate that mechanics up here charge, I have honestly considered buying an old banger and doing some weekend mechanics on it, just to learn how to do a few things myself. Figure it could save us a fair few quid.
yer having mates thats handy like that is good, my brother used to do it, but he lives over 100miles away so cant really drop in on him! lolI do try do small bits and bobs on my car if possible, if no,t take to my mate (ex mechanic)! /emoticons/smile.png
thats not good, just went out to a smashed back window on one of my vans, arge, it was signed, so I'll need to get that done again, arge arge arge.
There was some kids throwing stones at cars the other day, they are my prime suspect, little shi+s
