Soft washing roof

I have a roof to soft wash. I'm going to apply two applications of 4% hypo. Do I rinse off after a couple of hours or let mother nature take its course over time? Any advise much appreciated

If trying to remove moss then use a biocide and let it die and fall into the gutter. Clean the gutter out when its all gone.

Leave it for an hour then rinse it if you don’t you could find over time it will look white as the hypo breaks  down into salt deposits .hypo should always be rinsed as it can be corrosive if left on a surface for prolonged periods , you can use a neutralising agent after it’s cleaned the surface but it’s easier and cheaper just to rinse

Hypo will kill moss in muinits  it will turn it white or translucent and like bio it will come off in time , but if it’s bad it’s best to scrape it first . This is one we did with bio a couple of months ago as the customer specifically wanted bio used .

Thats an intresting question i i asked the owner the same question , he is under the impression that it’s a man made artificial tile but not containing asbestos , I also got a builder to look at it and he didn’t think it was asbestos .
