When will I learn????.

After much dithering, deliberating and cogitating and on noticing that there seemed to be considerably more periods of sunshine than rain, I decided to go out and tackle some of the bungalows I had booked in. As soon as I arrived at the first house and started squirting fairy into my bucket, the heavens opened and the sky looked as black as coal. You could hardly see the house for leaves being blown into the air. The lady of the house came to the door and said "are you sure about this". By this time I looked like I had just stepped out of the bathroom shower and I advised that it might be a good idea to adjourn to another day. The moral of the story is, dont dither, make your mind up, cancel if neccessary and then get on with enjoying your day. Im off outside now to chop some sticks then will be bottling my latest brew.....need a productive end to the day!

Its because you are like the rest of us a grafter mr tay and find it hard to justify to yourself taking a day off without trying to achieve something, I would feel better going out even if it means coming home because then I know I've tried and can justify coming home, nuts I know I need counceling!!!!

I was due out to my first job at 10am. Woman just emailed saying due to the weather she wants to leave the windows? Never understand the mentality, but then i guess i would'nt! It's ok here in sw london. Will go out bout 12 for the afternoon, weather looks fine. Going to the gym instead! Also can anyone help, I price a job, first clean and keep the price the same as a regular clean as she wants to be regular /emoticons/unsure.png soon as I finish she says ok to go 3 monthly?! I was secretly seething as it had all the awkwards, skylights, 3 storey windows, one above a pitched roof! Do most people just get rid? I charged £25. I am in Wimbledon
Sounds like a messer

Managed 16 houses, 1 ivy trim and 1 solar panel job. Put off 3 window clean jobs till tomorrow.

I was hoping for rain all day so I could Tuffer in the afternoon

so that was the morning sorted so what did you do for the rest of the day /emoticons/biggrin.png

I would feel guilty cleaning windows in the wind, as we all no its the wind that make them dirty. The good thing is, people will be pleased to see us with there dirty windows now lol

Well this morning i helped friend getting 1000 slates onto a roof scaffold (shattering) then earnt £100 window cleaning /emoticons/smile.png i got a little wet but it cleared up what with the rain side of things.

The wind is bad..was driving today (last day working for THE MAN.

tree came down in knightsbridge and killed a woman and the police were diverting all curtainside lorries off the m1

Funny how you cant quite settle on a write off day
Mr tay i can easily settle on a write off day

Settle in the allotment shed and test all my homebrew

See if the last bottle is as good as the first

Thats the way to do It daveyboy. Bottled up 17 bottles of rhubarb wine on sunday......just to add to the stash. Made one batch with champagne yeast and it seems to have come out fizzy.....very tasty and drinkable already.
