Pics of your belt setup.

Help Support WCF:

This is my current setup but it will be changing soon to hold a bigger squeegee. The blue microfiber (sort of) is good to store in the back pouch for those odd occasions when your minds not on the game and you for get to take your scrim up the ladder with you, but its nice and lightweight to leave in there. You can just about see the 6"squeegee on the loop of the unger pouch.
Loving the Spaniel tolish, my loveable but extremely Dopey Lab loves spaniels.

Can't take any pics my phone is basic and has no flash, so when i take a pic comes out all dark and crud. but i have a simple set up, two pouches for my scrims(don't like them microfibre cloths, old fashioned scrim anyday) one wet, one dry, BOAB, applicator or abo as we call em, 12 inch squeegee, scraper in my pouch pocket. job done, for stubborn stains and marks i use one of those srunge type sponges. hate being weighted down by to much stuff dangling.

Remember when i first started i used to get wacking great bruises from the BOAB .

I remember my first boab

Sit in car..soaking wet leg..shite forgot to take boab off again

Now i take my belt off every time

Yeah the old wet leg and car seat ha ha. i just empty the BOAB whilst still on the belt saves taking off and putting on.

I used to only use scrim, i now have half a dozen good quality unger microfiber cloths, i still use the scrim, but love the microfiber too

I could never use only 1 scrim per day but my big microfibres i can get away with it

In this weather i use 2 and dry one on the dash while driving

you can't beat a big old microfiber for buffing up leaded windows. but I much prefer the feeling of scrim on my hands.

don't you find micofibers catch on bits of dry skin and feel all synthetic to handle, or is just me? where as scrim being natural cotton feels a lot more nicer to use. The only thing is scrim is poor on leaded jobs compared to mfer imo.

Scrim isn't cotton..it is 100% hemp fibre..pity we can't smoke it lol

Microfibre feels a bit weird sometimes but that is the thousands of tiny hooks which lift all the bits of **** off the glass

quite right Dave sorry I stand corrected on scrim/hemp. I use hemp seeds a lot in fishing, years ago it was untreated stuff & remember "strange" plants started growing all along the local river banks! :hehehe:

And in my bedroom when i was young ..and the clearing in the woods down the welsh harp reservoir

Bit stronger than fishing grade hemp though lol

Yeah..................but once those fish had a taste for it the munchies were on and they would be fighting over the maggots! /emoticons/tongue.png

Where did you get this from please
Oh i think i know what we are on about here, the cloth/sponge that fits on the bottom of a boab to catch the drips? Ive not got one of these, only seen them in videos done by americans, u can probably make something similar
