has anyone ever cleaned one, been asked to quote, for 5. To be honest I don't want it.But if they pay enough maybe my arm would be twisted. Looks like a lot of trouble delicate glass only held in place with clips. Very hot on my own. I don't think my arm will twist that far.But still interested to know if anyone has done any.

yeh not so sure I would want to do them...I have only done one tidgy one...but that glass is awful thin....

I was back down there yesterday this time the boss wanted me to look at clearing a large gutter, also impossible to do with there strick no ladder use on site policy among all the other OTT health and safety regs they have. The gutter was a large deep commercial gutter running front to back down the middle of a slightly angled warehouse roof. Put the inspection camera up at the front and full on garden growing all the way front to back, even half a tree stuck in there, after a brief chat he finally realised getting up there is the only option, they are now going back to risk asssess it!

There also no further with having the nurseries cleaned, wont pay for a lift/crane and wont let anybody up on the gutters so I won't be holding my breath on that job.

Well they are not going to get anyone to do it then if they don't have a mansafe system on the wearhouse roof etc as they have a duty of care to all contrctors and will be held liable if someone should fall through it.

Regarding the green houses maybe you should send them the links I posted for the robot cleaning systems

did u not suggest the route of cleaning to go through the vents from inside as long as u have a mini scaffold on wheels ? u cud also get the gutters the same way using a guttervac it just be very time comsumming
