Yeah I would say these days it's essential. What's the first thing most do when looking for or wanting to know anything. Go ask google. /emoticons/wink.png

I wouldnt be in the job without mine. My payment goes through the payment tab on my site which saves me collecting or pre calling. I get lots of local work from it as it ranks high in the local villages. And I think it looks good on the business cards too.

Get her done.

I pay £8 a month [vistaprint] for mine , www.jonnywindows.co.uk and its a veritable goldmine .

takes a while till you get a website raking in work, rome wasnt built in a day, once you get it on song it should bring in you a steady stream of fresh enquiries week on week

You can get all sorts of deals from different designers - personally I offer pay monthly rental deals from £19 a month - or pay upfront deals from £395.

There a loads of guys cheaper than me & loads more expensive too,.. it all depends what you need for your business. /emoticons/smile.png

How much are you looking at to get a decent website done?

Wot do you get for 19 month as I'm interested

jonesy seems to be on the ball^ his prices have gone up in recent times seems hes doin well at it,good for him

i personally am hangin in with vistaprint who price has only upped a quid in 5 yrs. oh yes their sites look amateurish and cheap, but if you are a bottom feeder who focusses on council house work and low end work that sort of cheapo site is ideal. what i like about the budget sites such as weebly ,vistaprint and offhand i cant think of the name of the others-what i like is that its you yourself that does all the editing , this means you get to see something of the soul of the man or woman who created it .

an example is a site littered with bad spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, it shows hes human and not perfect but probably very approachable

Hey, I currently have a website I built myself with 1&1 but I am **** with the SEO stuff, I am ranked well for some stuff but not others, would you be able to keep my URL, I own it etc but not sure how you go about moving it over etc?

Its www.cotswoldspowerclean.co.uk maybe might be worth using a new URL?

Very interested in your £29 a month option, I like that as I add pics and like to blog reasonably regular.

Could do with having a chat, I would really like to have you do my website and get better google rankings, take a look at my website to see what I do etc.
