Friend Laid Off

yer i have had several cv's sent to me asking if i have work, few of them from other window cleaning companys thats just laid them off due to the company loosing contracts! if only the work was there to hire them!

Me and my Brother in law went out once and did 2 days canvassing, morning through until late evening and built up around £400 worth of monthly work. Then he cleaned it and half dumped him coz he was useless. I had a job at the time

Just shows what 2 motivated individuals can do. As I've said I hate canvassing alone but with someone else with me I get my mojo if you know what I mean.

Just be careful working with friends.. I have hired a few friends, helped them financially.. Now we are not friends lol...

Sucks he lost his job. I hope things will start to pick up. Manufacturing is low in todays economy - it's all computers and cheap plastic that's trending.

i had a guy canvas for me when i started he was great at getting work and i couldnt believe my luck then the cracks started to appear a few customers said they smelt drink of him and another woman told me he made a pass at her daughter so that was the end of him .

This guy I started this thread about, I told him to call me at 12 on Friday. I read in a book if you want to guage how keen a person is then give them I time to call you. If they phone 5 minutes before it means they have been waiting to call all day. If they ring you at random that day then they'll have an excuse why the don't want to work. This guy sent me a text well into the evening saying he was ready to work and to let him know when I had work on. He's obviously wanting to clean windows but I had explained I didn't have enough work on but he could help me build new work up
