Sounds good to me mate. Just crack on with em. No chatting or sitting around. Just do em. Means I can have me Thursday n Friday at home or just doing wot I want instead of spending the days finishing off the work I didn't do cos I was dawdling along

Wish I had that luxury but have a lot of bills to pay lol

So it's 6 sometimes 7 days for me at mo

I have often when working trad managed 25 a day without breaking a sweat, Benny and I have still to beat our best day of tradding 3 bed semis at 42 houses in 8 hours.

Wont happen though as I dont trad like that no more! It's all about the pole now!

I'm getting old mate. Divorced. Just got one daughter left at home with me. She's 25 and works. I don't need as much money as I used to need. Life's to valuable to waste working if you don't need to. Got things I would rather do. If I'm gonna spend a day at work then that's wot I will do. A good day under my belt

I'm becoming well aware that my problem is the chit chat. Each custy takes far too much of my time with chatting. Reckon I lose an hour a day on some rounds. With the dark coming in early I've found it easier to cut people off as I can use it as an excuse, but its something I'm going to address as of tomorrow.

Chat to em if u want tolish. We're all different. If that's how u like doing it then carry on. There's no right or wrong way to do it
Thats the thing mate, I like a chat, but its taking up too much time these days. Times money. I need to taper it back a bit.

Getting Thursday n fri off makes me get out the house on a Tuesday n wed. On a mon n Tuesday I always have shops to do early before the houses. Won't do 30 houses if I've done a load of shops first

When I work with my father in law we trad between 30

-35 a day but that's with 2 of us starting at 9 and finishing by half 1 working flat out. We have 1 round a fortnight which has 55 houses but about 35 of them are fronts within a couple of doors of each other and that takes us between 5 and 6 hours flat out! I'm shattered after that, worst thing is that's on a Saturday!

I will be doing plenty of chatting tomorrow. I'm cleaning out the gutters on an old peoples home. Do the windows monthly and the gutters yearly after the leaves have fallen. They will all be out asking what I'm doing

Thats one of my biggest problems Tolish....the chatting. I would prefer to just get on with the job, but a lot of my customers seem to be very very chatty. I just cant seem to get away from them.

The amount of times when the conversation has come to a natural end, and then I've unwittingly asked another question that has led down another path of conversation. I kick myself as I could have escaped.

I dread going to some houses as I know they will chat me to death. One couple always Insist that I go Inside and have coffee and cakes with them....takes about 45 minutes. Ridiculous!

I have one very politicised customer whom I have to tread carefully with. Last Friday, like an idiot, I mentioned the Mali hotel attack. She then proceeded to give me a massive lecture about the history of caliphates. Another 30 minutes lost.
