30 metre hose on reel gardiner backpack

I'm thinking of using a 30 metre hose on a reel attached to my Gardiners backpack.

Is this possible or might I encounter problems with the pump and or flow.

This will work - however it will put the pump under greater strain & could shorten its working life. This is why we do not warranty the backpack for use with extension hose lengths over 20m (plus pole hose).

I used mine fine with 100m of microbore until the pump got red hot and seized up :1f602:

Dont want to invalidate the warranty are you saying that a total hose length of 30 metres would do this ?

The pump is warrantied if used with hose extension packs of up to 20m - this does not include any pole hose length. 

A 30m extension length would not be covered under warranty.

How long did that last are in hours how many do you think you used it. An was it 5 liters a min one many thanks.
