I've just remembered that Peugeot/Citroen already allowed 75kgs driver weight in with the van's weight, so Huranh could go to a 500 litre tank and still be ok.

I stand corrected. I can't find a 400 litre non baffeled tank to compare sizes. When we fitted the 500 litre tank to the partner van, Wyedale Plastics mentioned that both the baffeled and non baffeled where the identical size and we were to take 15 litres out of the capacity for the baffeled one as that was the result of the baffels.400ltr tank empty = 26kg
400ltr tank full = 426kg /emoticons/wink.png .

At one time they did the identical tanks, one baffeled and the other not and both were the identical size. I queried this and was told the non baffeled was 500 litres and the baffeled was 485 litres. Now I can't see a non baffeled 500 litre tank, but they do have one of 530 litres. So I guess the latest ones hold slightly more. I have always thought it was a catagory the tank what put into.Spruce,
If your tank is non-baffled, you can buy 'baffle-balls' to go inside the tank which are low displacement.

Water tanks from the above company (in the linky) are an outlet for Wydale.
I collected mine from Wydale themselves.
Also, is that right that they can advertise a 500ltr tank for sale, when it actually holds less then 500ltr.....
In their description for a tank made by Wydale, it states 500ltr.

so really the payload is 675 ?I've just remembered that Peugeot/Citroen already allowed 75kgs driver weight in with the van's weight, so Huranh could go to a 500 litre tank and still be ok.
I guess you could put it that way. Always best to completely fill up tank and diesel tank as well and get it weighed with you inside. Then get the front and rear axles weighed seperately.so really the payload is 675 ?
/emoticons/ohmy.png lol thats so true ! i was thinking that the other day... ! LolThe problem with Berlingo/Partner vans is that they sit down so low when you put a bit of weight in them that they look overloaded when compared to other vans.
Was you thinking that before or after you got in the van /emoticons/tongue.png/emoticons/biggrin.png/emoticons/biggrin.png ./emoticons/ohmy.png lol thats so true ! i was thinking that the other day... ! Lol
